MATH NIGHT
for Parents of Chatham Fourth Graders,

Tuesday, December 1, 5:30-7:00pm

Chatham Elementary School & Monomoy Community Services are pleased to offer an on-going MATH NIGHT for 4th grade parents who would like the opportunity to:

• Have a preview of upcoming math units, including the language and terminology classroom teachers will use to present concepts and materials to your son/daughter.
• Learn first-hand the strategies used in class for problem solving so that your homework support efforts more closely model what the students are actually doing.
• Amaze and astound your child with your up-to-the-minute understanding of 4th grade math!

No math expertise required… MATH NIGHT is intended to be a casual evening of information.

Math Night will be held every 5-6 weeks

Pizza Dinner for Parents, Teachers, and Children Together 5:30-6:00
Math Night Session 6:00 – 7:00pm

**A supervised quiet study room will be available for your children to use to complete homework, if you need to bring them to Math Night.  A homework mindset and impeccable behavior will be expected of parents and students alike.

Fee: There will be a one-time fee of $25. Scholarships are available.

What Boys Need

Thursday, December 10, 6:30-8:00pm @ Monomoy Youth Center
Join parent educator, Cindy Horgan, as she presents an introduction to the care, parenting and support of elementary and middle school age boys.

Raising Healthy Boys in today's world, requires an understanding of their needs, as well as how they experience the world in which they live. What are the messages they get that influence the way they grow."
There is no fee for this workshop, but pre-registration is required.
