SUPPORTING FAMILIES, STRENGTHENING CHATHAM
MONOMOY COMMUNITY SERVICES
“I am not afraid of storms, for I am learning how to sail my ship.” Louisa May Alcott
COVID19 Health Crisis
A year later and we are slowly beginning to rebuild.
Thanks to the efforts of local residents, Stephen and Mary Beth Daniel and hundreds of generous contributors, the Chatham Coronavirus Impact Fund was able to assist local residents with household expenses during the pandemic. We are indebted to the remarkable contribution so many made to keeping our local community safe, health and able to survive during this historic health and economic disaster.
Though the fund has run its course, Monomoy will continue to seek out, develop and partner with resources that support the lives and livelihoods of Chatham community members.
Chatham is a special place because of the individuals, parents, and children who live and work here year round. For over four decades, Monomoy Community Services has diligently supported them with quality resources— childcare for working families, counseling referral services, financial assistance, and community special events.
At MCS, our reach may be wide but our mission is simple: to meet everyday, ever-changing needs so that local families grow stronger and our seaside community thrives.
Monomoy is a private, not for profit agency whose purpose is to provide a variety of childcare, counseling information and referral and family support services for residents of the Town of Chatham.
