Adding a Permanent Home for the Chatham Children's Fund

Monomoy Community Services, together with the support of grants
and generous donors, is opening its doors and sharing space to create a new, permanent home for the Chatham Children’s Fund — one of Chatham’s most valued community programs.
Why Chatham Children's Fund?
What started with a dedicated volunteer team and a high school supply closet full of donations, The Chatham Children’s Fund (CCF) has grown to serve more than 225 children and teens from 150 Chatham families, every year, with clothing, financial assistance, holiday wish list items and basic, year round household financial support. When the donated space used to house CCF for the past 10 years, recently sold, since much of the Children’s Fund work already takes place at Monomoy’s Depot Rd facility and CCF is administered under Monomoy’s 501(c)(3), it was an obvious choice to officially bring the two longstanding community resources together under one roof. So here we are, making it happen!
Building Size & Specs
The remodeling/renovation project includes an approximately 1,000sqft addition and renovation of existing 3,400sqft space including improvements to the licensed childcare center, comprehensive HVAC heating/cooling, solar backup, window replacement, flooring, ADA accessibility. Approximately 1,500sqft of the remodeled facility will be dedicated to Chatham Children’s Fund’s new, permanent home.
